you can reply him as ........ {a little bit} = 識少少. hope it can help you.

I only know a little bit english

Just simply say: just a little bit.

Simpily say:

I have little knowledge of English.

You may say "Sorry, I only know a bit English."or"I only know some of the English,sorry."

你識唔識英文,你可以很禮貌地說:I am sorry,I don,t speak englsh.(對不起,我不會說英文)或外國人問你問題,你可以說:I am sorry,i don,t understand what you are talking about,can you ask order people?(對不起,我不明白你說的話,你可否問其他人?)
