2. Organizing : basic departmentation, line and staff authority relationship, decentralization of authority

3. Staffing : matching the person with job, performance appraisal, manager &organizational development.

4. Leading : motivation, leadership, communication

5. Controlling : budget and time control, operation research, manpower

There are different functions of managers. First of all, they can plan objectives, strategies and policies. They are also decision makers. At the same time, they can organise basic departmental, line and staff authority relationship and assist in decentralization of authority. Their responsibilities include staffing as well, like matching persons with jobs, preparing performance appraisal, carrying out manager & organizational development, and etc. They are also important in leading, motivating and communicating with the staff. Not to mention their involvement in budget and time control, operation research and manpower arrangements.

There are many function of Managers .The first function is for planning.Managers can do the planning of objectives,strategies and decision making . The second thing is for organizing , the basic departmentation, line and staff authority relationship and decentralization of authority.The third thing is for staffing. It can do the matching the person with job, performance appraisal, manager and the organizational development.The forth thing is leading.It can do motivation, leadership and communication.The last thing is to controlling ,for budget and time control, operation research and manpower .
