阻赫性 = Prevention (noun) 是預防,防止,也有阻赫性的意思, 主要看句子前後怎樣用.
例: The punishment for the thieves has no prevention (或 no avail) at all.

其實你大可以用prevent...form來說出阻嚇，因阻嚇就是預防某事的發生，若你在網上索尋，很多文章，都會將阻嚇譯成：prevent...from
