I think AUD will go down after 1 to 2 years. This is because AUD now at high level (USD 93 cents per AUD) is supported by wide interest rate differential between Australian (7.25%) and USA (2%) and strong economic conditions. However, US economy is recovering while Australia will experience slow down in economic growth and interest rate differential will tighten in 1-year time. Therefore, I expect AUD will go lower against USD to 80 cents at the end of 2009. In HKD, 1 AUD for 6.32 HKD.
