plastic bags...gone?

I went to publix supermarket today and the lady said they are soon getting rid of plastic bags, that a bill was going to be passed and then tried to sell me these cloth bags for ..99 cents that were at the register...Is this true? I want to keep the plastic bags

they said they will be charging 25 cents a plastic bag

Different stores are handling it differently. Some are bringing back the paper bags and charging fees if you choose the plastic. Others are encouraging people to buy the cloth bags that are washable and reusable. Personally, I think the cloth bags are worth it.

I hope so....

We have had this here in Canada for a while.

Plastic is good, but people don't recycle.
