Ok so I have a spanish oral in a couple of days and the general jist is introducing yourself to a neighbour and asking each other questions. Any help namely in useful vocab in asking or returning a question, or general vocab would be greatly appreciated. Just dont want to put 'y tu?' at the end of everything! thanks in advance...

You can always say " y usted " or " y usted señor/señora"

Or completely ask the question again .. like..

Neighbor: " De donde eres"
You: "Soy de Mexico, y tu de donde eres?"

Something like that!
Good luck

I think if you want to avoid using "y tu" then it's better to ask them the whole question... For example,

Neighbour: "Como se llama?"
You: "Me llamo... , y ¿como se llama?"

Just add on some spanish accent will do too...
