Why did TEAM ROCKET always steals ASH's PIKACHU? And why did WOBBUFFET blasting off so many times?

because team rocket are the bad guys and pikachu is the only thing that links the bad guys to ash and co. , so if they didnt steal pikacu (well try) then there would be two stories happening in polemon. and the animators only have one script to work with which meant that the same thing happens over and over again probably.... i dunno, i got bored of watching pokemon cos the same thing happens over and over again... poor wobbuffet...

In the anime, I think they believe Ash's pikachu is special because it keeps beating them? I don't know. Haven't watched it for years.
