The setting: a poor family
Narrator: A poor woman,Mrs Lee, lives with her son,Johnny in a small hut whose husband was died three years ago. She works in a Chinese restaurant and washes the dishes every day.Now her son is talking about the Mother Day with his classmates in the class.
Peter:Hey! The Mother Day is coming soon. How do you celebrate this festival with your mum, Janice and Johnny?
Janice: Um..I will have a big dinner in a five-star hotel with my family. And I will buy her some flowers.(excited)
Peter: How about you, Johnny?
Johnny: Um... I have no idea because I have not any pocket money.Therefore, I cannot buy anything for her.(Upset)
Peter: Never mind, Johnny. You can make somethings by yourself.

Narrator: On the mother day, now Johnny is at home and is making a card for his mum. On the other hands, his mum is busy on her work. When she come home, it is late at midnight.

Mrs. Lee: Johnny, I am coming home.My dear, have you done your homework?
Johnny: Sure, mum.Do you know what date is today?
Mrs. Lee: I do not know. What is it?
Johnny: Today is Mother Day. I have a card for you and Happy Mother Day!!
Although I cannot buy any expensive things for you, I want you know that I love you so much and I appreciate of you.Thank you for taking good care of me.
Narrator: Mrs. Lee cannot say anything because she is touched and tear in her eyes.Everybody, please remember to love your mother in any ways.
