✔ 最佳答案
2x-14=3x
14=3x+2x
14=5x
x=14/5
2x - 14 = 3x
- 14 = x
x = - 14
2(x - 7) = 3x
2*x - 2*7 = 3x
2x - 14 = 3x
2x - 3x = 14
-x = 14
x = 14/-1
x = -14
2(x-7)=3x
so,2x-14=3x
=>2x-3x=14
=>-x=14
i.e. x=-14
2(x-7)=3x
=2*x-2*7=3x
=2x-14=3x
=-14=3x-2x
=-14=1x
therefore,x=-14
first multiply out the brackets on the l.h.s.
2x - 14 = 3x
Then gather the x's on the l.h.s by taking 3 from both sides of the equation
-x - 14 = 0
move the 14 to the r.h.s. by adding 14 to both sides of the equation
-x = 14
if -x = 14 then x = -14
therefore x = -14 is the solution.
2(x-7) = 3x
1. Simplify the expression on the left:
2x-14 = 3x
2. Move all the x terms to one side by subtracting both sides by 2x:
-14 = 3x - 2x
-14 = x
Therefore x = -14.
Hope this helps =)
2(x-7)=3x
2x-14=3x
-14=x
QED
2(x-7)=3x
2x - 14 = 3x ................distribute 2 on the left side of the equation
-14 = x ........................subtract 2x to the both sides
x = -14
