1.On the surface, Hong Kong seems to be a very fair place, but in reality there is still discrimination here.

2.Most people traditionally think that men are better than women, so sexual discrimination still exists in Hong Kong.

3.However, women have a better education and higher position in society nowadays.

4.As an open-minded citizen, we should not prejudice to women because everyone is equal and sex is not the key of success.

5.Numerous employers do not hire elderly people because they believe youngsters can do a better job.

6.Yet, old people have more work experience and knowledge than young people, they are often better than others.

7.Age is not an essential part for employers to hire people who are old or young.

All others are correct except :
4. As an open-minded citizen, we should not be prejudice to women because everyone is equal and sex is not the key of success.

5. Numerous employers do not hire elder (elderly itself is a noun) people because they believe youngsters can do a better job.

6. Yet, elder people have more work experience and knowledge than young people, they are often better than the latter ones (others – cannot exactly tell people you are referring to elder or younger people.)

8. The disables suffer from similar unfair treatment.


10. I hope Hong Kong can (No to) be a modern city with no discrimination.
