your situation is quite similar to mine ^^
i am now working for almost 4 years
the hard time seems just gone from me..

i was an art student, i only got chin and eng pass in HKALE
i went to the DIPLOMA course in IVE thru the 2nd intake after HKALE, it's a science subject about engineering, omfg at that moment for me, haha.

after one year, i promoted to higher diploma, there were altogether 3 years i had spent on studies in IVE.

yes, this is a long road. and i felt i wasted my 2 years in f.6-7.
but it worths.

i know that my story doesnt help any at ur reality, but i hope you can be more confident and don't have helpless feeling. you are not that bad, if you don't give up.
