Chinese economy is very strong with huge trade surplus from its world factory status. Many countries such as European countries and USA want Chinese government to speed up the CNY appreciation pace as Chinese goods are too 'cheap', hence reducing competitiveness of European and USA goods in the global world. The appreciating CNY can correct world trade imbalances.
