點解congratulations 要加"s" ?

It is because even though congratulations is uncountable, in reality we will not give just one congratulation to other people, therefore we shall always use congratulations.

雖然 「恭賀」表面係數唔得到, 但響外個人眼中, 用得呢個祝賀詞, 呢D一定係高興野, 祝賀人地多多都好, 好似中國人既 : 多多益善, 所以就規定左有 "S" 啦。
