Nothing wrong with above sentences. As an English teacher, that is, I will not deduct marks from my students if they do not use : prepare for !

Remember 1 rule for language : language has life and it keeps changing, including their usage.

We should prepare the answer for the question. - Correct. A good alternative.

We should prepare the answer of the question. - Also correct. Most
ceremonial, used in stylish English.

I have not heard of anything like "the answer about the question", so I quess I would not write anything so clumsy as that at all.

2) answer 作為 noun 時﹐後面一般是用 to ﹐例如﹕
He sent an answer to my letter promptly.
My answer to your question is “No!”
我覺得用 of 或 for 聽落都 okay ﹐雖然就好少見到甘用。但是用 about 就真系未聽過啦﹐個搭配聽落都吾順。
