✔ 最佳答案
(2x + 7)(x - 1)
if it says simplify only, then that should be your final answer

2x^2 - 7 = -5x
2x^2 + 5x - 7 = 0
(2x + 7)(x - 1) = 0

2x + 7 = 0
2x = -7
x = -7/2
x = -3 1/2 (-3.5)

x - 1 = 0
x = 1

∴ x = -3 1/2 (-3.5) , 1

do it ur self
tgale 5 x to the left side
factor
2008-04-20 11:06 am
First, Set it equal to zero
2x^2+5x-7=0
then, factor
(x-1)(2x+7)
-1*2 = -2
X*7 = 7x
-2+7x = 5x

x-1 = 0
x =1

2x+7 = 0
2x= -7
x= -7/2

Your Answer = 1, -7/2
There ya go =P

2X^2-7=-5x
2X^2+5x-7
ac=-14 (british method)
2X^2+7x-2x-7
(2x^2+7x) (-2x-7)
X(2x+7) -1(2x+7)
(2x+7)(X-1) answer
2008-04-20 11:03 am
Set it equal to 0.
2x^2+5x-7=0
Then factor.
(2x+7)(x-1)
x=-7/2 x=1

Check and see which one is right, might be neither or might be both.
2008-04-20 11:03 am
2x²-7=-5x
2x²+5x-7=0
(2x+7)(2x-2)=0
(2x+7)2(x-1)=0
(2x+7)(x-1)=0
x=1 or x=-7/2
2008-04-20 11:02 am
2x^2+5x-7= 0

(2x + 7)(x - 1) = 0

x = 1 or -7/2
2008-04-20 11:02 am
When you factor the equation must =0.
2x^2 + 5x -7 =0
(2x +7)(x - 1) = 0
2x + 7 = 0
2x = -7
x = -3.5

or

x-1=0
x=1
2008-04-21 9:56 pm
2x² + 5x - 7 = 0
(2x + 7)(x - 1) = 0
x = - 7/2 , x = 1
