why there will be an explosion when HCl is added to Na or K?

to snakewongcm: I know Hydrogen will be release but how come it will explode? ther's no fire

yes, there will be an explosion .
when sodium or potassium is added to water,
a small fire can be observed. so when acid is used instead
of water, a lot of hydrogen will be release so that an explosion
occur.

It is because Na & K is very reactive.(ps個reactivity勁)
你可以睇返reactivity series,書都有講Na or K + dilute acids=>explosive reaction


做多d past paper喇,你會發現自己不知不覺下知道不少chem的野
