what is the different between HDD, FULL HDD AND HD

i want to buy a camcorder, but some said is HDD, FULL HDD AND HD, in fact, what are the differ? And i am planing to buy camcorder, so which one is good to buy , sony hard disk handycam 40GB or jvc everio hard disk camcorder 30GB(red). and did final cut pro support the HD format?

First of all, Final Cut Pro(Newest version) support HD, positive.

by the way, u confused with those terms, let me explain.
HD= High Definition, means digital visual resolution at least720 dpi

Full HD= Full High Definition, means digital visual resolution up to 1080 dpi

HDD= Harddisk, a device that saving computer data

so, now we can continue abt choosing ur camcorder. the camcorder of Sony & JVC u mentioned is harddisk(HDD) inside, means they dun ve to record video on DV tape or disc. In case of HD(high definition) video, 1hr. needs abt 6GB space. therefore,30 -40GB is very enough for normal
use. unless u need more space for the best quality & professional video records.

i think that sony's video is vivid & sharp, but if u like images more realistic, jvc is a better choice.
