我想問下澳洲悉尼或墨爾本有邊間大學讀nursing嘅master好

Melbourne, La Trobe University (Bundoora campus)-- excellent.

to find a part time job as a nurse, you need to have the license in Australia, if you are a RN from hk with BSN, you can do the verification first. apply your DIV1 license in the state where you wanna go. (if you apply the DIV1 license in NSW sydney, you can't work in Vic, Melboure), you must have the state license to work in that state.

Once you got your verification and accepted your credit. you will have the Div 1 license from that states, then you can go and apply job at hospital or nursing agency.

I was Div 1 from Victoria state, working in melbourne. I worked for Twinshill, their offer for part time is pretty cool.. I still have other agency info in my hand if you need them.
now, I am working in US..
(I was a EN in hk, BN, Div1 in Melbourne, and now I am a BN, RN in New york)..
the degree which you get from La Trobe University.. is well known in other countries, which you don't need to take any extra credit to work or study in higher level.. I was recommended to study there by my nursing school teacher and principle when I was a EN from TWEH.

As you will study over there, you can do it over there. Certainly, if you planned to work as part time right immidately after you land. then you need to do it about 6 months ahead.
you can go to the broad of nursing to that state (which you planned to study), and get the application form.

I was graduated from La Trobe University, when we were at our final year ( June-August), we started to have all interviews.. and we were all employed before we graduated.

in your situation, you don't even have a working visa or student visa nor a valid nursing license, no hospital will employ you.
I found my job in over there in person.

you can go online to get all document already (but very difficult, as you may miss something), also, they will have a Nurse to verify your document in person, so you will not be able to do it in Hong Kong. But you can have all your document be ready ahead.

Also, it takes months for them to verify your qualification, therefore you need to tell your school where you get your RN license, to be ready, (your transcript and you studies syllibus for those years).

If your nursing school can release your transcript to you, that will be wonderful, but mostly, that is illegal. your nursing school will release your info only under your request from Board of nursing in Australia..

you can go to Australia, just a week to submit your application for RN license and also apply for your working permit from your uni.. that is the fastest way that you can work strict away when you land next Feb (before class starts)

U need to take the english language ex, needn't u?

other than the mutual recognition of you credit, they will assess your english language capacity, usually they will ask to to take the iELTS/OET

I try IELTS years ago and recent few years, it becomes more and more difficult
I am RN Div 1 both in NSW/VIC
I got my registration because I worked in the UK years ago
At that time I needed to fly to Sydney to have an interview with the nursing officer of the Board

Western Sydney U appears quite good. It is rising, they start to have medicine faculty this years, usually only major u will have medicine faculty.
Besides, it is more easier for U to get a nursing PT job in Sydney, of course, u have to register with the board 1st.

As i will finish my contract here in hk in july next year, i plan to work as a part time nurse first in Australia before the school start in march. So i hope i can get all the license and working visa done before i arrive there. Is that possible??
