租約到期是否必須與租客續約及打釐印?

各位網友我有層舊樓租出已有兩年, 現剛好到期, 請問我是否須要聯絡該名租客, 簽新租約 ?? 如果不簽新約, 站在業主立場有沒有任何缺點/ 好處 ?? (原則上我沒有打算加租) 謝謝幫忙

新租約 will protect both 業主 and 租客 as the terms are stated in the租約.
I suggest you also paid the stamp duty(加 蓋 印花), this will protect the 業主 more.

You may find more information in above link. In brief, duty stamp is to give legal enforement on a tenancy agreement. A tenancy agreement without study stamp is not a legal contract. As a result, it cannot be an "evident" under law suit.
