A 1-kW heat , immersed in water (5kg, 100degree celsius) , is switched on for 10 minutes. Calculate the maximum amount of water boiled away.

m(2.26*10^6)=1000(10*60)
m=0.265 kg
max. mass of water can be boiled away=0.265kg
(assume no heat loss to the surroundings)
