It is because the sea water which is hypertonic solution(lower water protential). When sea water enter into body, it will gain water from the cells by osmosis. Then the cells lose water and become shrinks. The lost water will be dscharged(excretion). Drink sea water will lose much water from your body, the person who drink sea water will die soon because of lack of water.
