I live in Tin Shui Wai.
A short while ago, a mother plunged to her death from a high rise residential block in Tin Yiu Estate after killing her daughter and son. This is not the first time similar cases of family tragedies involving violence were reported in Tin Shui Wai. In April 2004, a man committed suicide after stabbing his Mainland wife and two daughters to death.

The “sadness” of the town is traceable back to flaws in its planning. The densely populated town does not have enough public facilities to offer to its residents. Old folks have no place to socialize. Children do not have a playground to go to. Book lovers do not have a library in the neighbourhood.

Face to the above problem,I hope the government should impove the environment in Tin Shui Wai. I am sure Tin Shui Wai will soon become the “City of Contentment”.
