英文文法......急!!!(高手請進)

Campaign 一般是較長時間及一串的活動，function通常「一招了」。例如選舉工程是一個campaign，家長同樂日是個function。
I would like to make this functions run smoothly 應寫成:
I would like this function to run smoothly 或
I would like to see the smooth running of this function.
