文學批評方法之一，又稱後結構主義。這種方法不僅強調符號與所指概念之間的任意性，而且強調它們之間的高度不穩定性，因而認為任何簡單的詞意都不可能有「意義」，從而就把結構主義所洞察到的現象引入它們的邏輯結論（亦即無邏輯的不完結性）。法國哲學家德希達（J.Derrida）在幾部著作中說明，語言必不可能藉指示方法使人們進入話語所不能形容的「域外」世界(out there)，而且這種話語必須分解開來，才能揭示我們關於實在的言語為中心的觀念是如何荒謬而尚能自圓其說。
