8x - (2x +6) = 12
8x - 2x - 6 = 12
6 x = 18
x = 3

substitue 3 for x in the original equation and check
24 - (6 + 6) = 12
24 - 12 = 12
12 = 12

decrease 8x + 12y = 12 by ability of dividing the full equation by ability of -4 as a result you get -2x - 3y = -3 So, -2x - 3y = -3 2x + 3y = 6 ----------------- 0x + 0y = 3 whilst this happens, the two between the traces are parallel and not touching. this methodology of equations haas no techniques with the aid of this actuality.

8x - (2x +6) = 12
8x - 2x - 6 = 12
6x - 6 = 12
6( x - 1 ) = 12
6( x - 1 ) / 6 = 12 / 6
x - 1 = 2
x - 1 + 1 = 2 + 1
x - 0 = 3
x = 3

8x - (2x + 6) = 12
8x - 2x - 6 = 12
6x = 12 + 6
6x = 18
x = 18/6
x = 3

The answer is 1. You have to do the work in prenthesis first,but you can't do any work in the prenthesis because you can't add 2x and 6 so, you move on to to the subtraction 8x-2x = 6x then 6x=6. because you took your negative 6 over, then divide both sides by 6 and you get x=1.
