Is it true that there is a new policy in Canada where it allows international students to apply for a citzienship after graduating from university? I was told that once you graduate from a Canadian university, apply for the citizenship, work for a year, then you will be able to become a citizen. I am not sure about the actual details and so please give me some directions of what I can do in order to apply for a citizenship. Thanks.

Partially yes. Actually, Canadian Immigration department is prefering international students to find job in Canada after graduating from Canadian University.

Now, international student with graduate degree from Canadian university does not need to go back and apply for the immigration. They can find the job and apply for the permenant residency while in Canada.
