KFT is better. KFT has better network in most areas of Seoul and outside Seoul. The 2 companies have similar rental fee. Not much difference.

Depends on which 郊區 area you go.
l think the 郊區 you mean is the town or area outside Seoul e.g. 春川. For most of the area where people live, KFT is better.

IDD call is more expensive than renting a mobile phone.
But if you only go to Korea for 1 week and you do not have many calls, you better use your HK mobile because you have to pay a daily renting fee for renting a mobile (2000~3000Won per day) even if you do not make any call.

Sony Ericsson K810i has 3G function and you can use you own HK SIM card to make IDD call in Korea.
There is no SIM card on sale in Korea.
But you may rent a Korea mobile phone and use your own HK SIM card.
