投機同投資有咩分別?

投機同投資的分別基本上可以說是心態上同時間上的分別.

簡單來說:
投機主要是靠賺取差價.
而投資則是賺取利潤回報.

只從表面睇, 兩者係好相似的, 只係心態上, 投機者通常都係想以小搏大, 刀仔鋸大樹, 賺快錢; 而投資者追求回報通常都唔係一時三刻, 所以會著重於長線. 時間上, 投機通常時間較短, 投資通常時間較長.

Benjamin Graham(The Intelligent Investor,智慧型股票投資人)重提Security Analysis,證券分析:「投資行為必須經過透徹的分析，確保本金的安全與適當的報酬，不符合上述條件的行為即是投機。」

Speculation is for short term profit via buying and selling of the stock, properties etc..The profit then earned is called Revenue Profit. This profit is normally liable to Profits Tax.
Investment means a long-term investment. The buying and holding of it is for long-term rewards e.g. dividend, own-used. The profit then earned later is called the Capital Profit which is normally not liable to protis tax.
