basically. since 24 is bigger than 6, u got into negetive numbers... ill show u the old fashioned way....
6,5,4,3,2,1,0,-1,-2,-3,-4.... etc
so once you are bellow 0, keep counting downwards until you have deduced 24 numbers. because taking away 24 is exactly the same as taking 1 away, 24 times... get it? so, u can't have -18 apples are something in real life. it is kind of a make believe number of apples if you like
