Because " Turbo Pascal " (version 7) is a DOS (or extended DOS) based 16-bit program that usually runs on DOS or 16-bit Window environment.


It is NOT a window-based program.


It can only run properly on DOS mode or an emulated DOS environment.


You can try to invoke a DOS screen by START > [R] run > type CMD [enter]

Then in the DOS screen, change directory to the TurboPascal directory, and invoke or type TURBO (turbo.exe) [enter]
