but I used NVIDIA Monitor to check it and it shows the displaycard just have 500MHz/333MHz, why it happen and how can I do?

first of all, u better clear ur mind of structure of DDR. DDR SDRAM (Double Data Rate - Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) which double data rate means two data process in a time.
so wht make DDR-400 faster than SDram 200mhz, is not becoz upper the mhz, they are same 200mhz, but DDR process multi-data at a time.
all of the software display the chipset frequency, like
DDR2-400:DDR2-SDRAM run at200 MHz
DDR2-533:DDR2-SDRAM run at266 MHz
DDR2-667:DDR2-SDRAM run at333 MHz
DDR2-800:DDR2-SDRAM run at400 MHz
DDR2-1000:DDR2-SDRAM run at500 MHz
DDR2-1066:DDR2-SDRAM run at533 MHz
ur NVIDIA Monitor should display the mode of the memory, like, DDR2, DDR3 etc. so make sure to chk it out.

& according to XFX offical: ur 8500GT 512MB should be the bottum one (see here), memory clock should be 667 instead of 800
