Nevertheless, after being turned down by nine publishing houses in the
mainland, she finally settled for a Hong Kong publisher - and resigned
herself to ignored back home.

我不明白ignored back home哪一個是形容詞?ignored?back?

根據牛津字典:be ready to accept and endure sth as inevitable:因著某事無法避免而去完全接受或忍受某事(聽任,順從)
They refused to resign themselves to defeat(名詞)/to being defeated.(他們不甘失敗)
若是動名詞必須是:being ignored(這情況絕不可省略being),但就算是being ignored back home,按文法角度看也有地方解不通。
resigned herself to ignored back home意思就是:去接受不再理會背後祖國的事實。
這句的ignored是分詞作形容詞形來修飾back home這名詞,正如:a little red-haired girl的little也是用來修飾red-haired girl這名詞,也是英文常見的。
