I'm partial to it because Edward is my father's name.He likes his name because Edward is the name of kings and princes in the world :).

I absolutely love that name! i even made a vow to myself that when i have a son, if i ever have a son, His name will be Edward Mason. I love the name Edward, Because that is a very strong and sophisticated/noble name throughout history. I am also going to name my first daughter, if i have one, Catherine. My King Edward, and Lady Catherine.

I love it because it is my father and grandfather's name. You can always call him Eddie. If I have a son I will make his middle name Edward.

it's an old name but Britain has a Prince Edward.. it's one of those names that stick around through centuries.. it will be a name that will still be there another century...Eddie...birth name Edward...that's ok... and chose a middle name in case he was a more modern name and go by that if you like Edward.. it's a name most famous in the early 1900's Queen Victoria of England's eldest son was King Edward I think VI..Britains like those names.. he reigned as King in Britain from 1901 to 1910.. his mother Queen Victoria had been Queen from 1838 to 1901 ..she was Queen for 62 years...

My dads name is Edwin and they call him Ed.He is 52 years old so it is kind of ol fashioned,but there is also a lot of famous Ed's.Such as King Edward.If you want to name a child that I wouldnt,but if it is your name you should be proud of it.
