I'm partial to it because Edward is my father's name.
He likes his name because Edward is the name of kings and princes in the world :).
It's a good strong name--you have excellent taste in names!
I think it sounds very sophistocated but cute for a baby too.
Goodluck.
Yes. It's a very strong and handsome classic.
It's all right but I don't like the nicknames Ed or Eddie that much. Ward is good though.
I absolutely love that name! i even made a vow to myself that when i have a son, if i ever have a son, His name will be Edward Mason. I love the name Edward, Because that is a very strong and sophisticated/noble name throughout history. I am also going to name my first daughter, if i have one, Catherine. My King Edward, and Lady Catherine.
yes! I know a guy named Edward and his name is sometimes shortened to Ned which is nice too! :D
See I like names like these for babies. When he is young he will get Eddie and when he is old and distinguished he will be Edward.
Well done!
Goodluck, wishing you well
ya and i agree wit sum people about it being a strong and classic name
I love it because it is my father and grandfather's name. You can always call him Eddie. If I have a son I will make his middle name Edward.

I love Edward, though I slightly prefer Edmond. Ned is my favorite nickname - can't stand Eddie!

Yes, I love it! Especially with the nickname Ned!
Edward, classic and timeless good for boy/man
Ed, Eddie, and i know a man with the name Edward but Friends call him Ned.
good choice.
Yes it's a traditional name go for it.
Hmm, no, if I were going to go with a English monarch kind of name, I'm more of a Richard or even from legend type stuff I like Arthur.
it's an old name but Britain has a Prince Edward.. it's one of those names that stick around through centuries.. it will be a name that will still be there another century...Eddie...birth name Edward...that's ok... and chose a middle name in case he was a more modern name and go by that if you like Edward.. it's a name most famous in the early 1900's Queen Victoria of England's eldest son was King Edward I think VI..Britains like those names.. he reigned as King in Britain from 1901 to 1910.. his mother Queen Victoria had been Queen from 1838 to 1901 ..she was Queen for 62 years...
Good luck
No sry i dont like the name.
sorry no but i would never name a kid Edward.
chances are a kid with this name is more likely to get beat up.
you might want to try a name a little more cooler.
no not really. its not horrible, but its not that great either.
eeeew,,pooeeey,, yuck, no , dat name jus has a bad reputation, like wen u hear it honestly the image that comes 2 your head wen you hear "edward" . srry but thumbs down on dat na me
I don't personally like that name. However, do not let anyone influence you. It's your decision that you should make on your own. (with the baby's dad of course)
i loveit but you can always give a middle name like chad or zach
No! its a horrible name. and plus, if "edward" doesnt like the name, theres no where better for him to go. all hes got basically is eddie or ed and both of those are horrible as well
It is okay as a middle name, but its kinda outdated.
no.. edward... i would prefer issac more.
My dads name is Edwin and they call him Ed.He is 52 years old so it is kind of ol fashioned, but there is also a lot of famous Ed's.Such as King Edward. If you want to name a child that I wouldnt, but if it is your name you should be proud of it.
Its okay my daddy's name is Edwin!
nope, sorry. Although I do like the character Edward in Stephanie Meyers Twightlight series. Maybe if that name had some a special meaning to you it would be ok.
As a middle name it is great. I don't like Ed so that is why I wouldn't use it as a first name. James Edward is cute.
Its okay if the nicknames
Eddy.
Ed.
