Let's write the equation properly:
NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H2O
There is no noticable change in the appearance of the solution, it remains colourless like water. There is some heat of reaction, which you may not notice in dilute solutions

Hcl+NaOH--------Nacl+H20
Acid and bases combines to give salt and water

0.1 molar HCl (aq) + 0.1 molar NaOH (aq) ==> NaCl (aq) + H2O (l)
This reaction, because everything is colorless and there is no obvious state change, is "invisible"; you will not see any difference. The reactants (and products) are clear and colorless. If you monitor the temperature you will see a rise in temperature (the reaction is exothermic) and if you add a pH indicator to either of the reactants you will see a color change as the pH goes to 7.
