First of all, both CT9A and BNR34 are All-wheel-drive (AWD), not 4WD. 4WD are hardwares with driver-select lockable differentials with low range, for off-road use.
Even though they are both considered "sports cars", we are actually comparing apple with orange. The CT9A is a 4-cylinder turbo sedan, while the BNR34 is a 6-cylinder twin-turbo GT coupe.
CT9A, with its smaller size and lighter weight, will be nimbler during cornering around city streets. However, with its smaller engine, there's very little power below 3000 rpm, so you have to step on the gas harder in order to get the torque. Being a sedan, of course you can take your family and friends out with the CT9A with more comfort.
BNR34 has better power delivery than the CT9A. But this is not a small car, and with the heavy straight-6 engine sitting above the front axle, the car will tend to understeer during sharp cornering. This is a car you enjoy on the freeway and around fast sweep curves.
I personally will take the BNR34 over the CT9A. I just can not stand the poor material use and interior design of those Mitsubishi cars, and the trunk is useless for a sedan.
