(i)Why a tablet of antacid contain a small amount of solid acid?
Antacid is to lower the acidity of HCl in our stomach but why we add some solid acid into the antacid? Wouldn't it deteriorate the situation?

(ii)usually, it contains a solid metal carbonate/metal hygrogencarbonate. These kind of substances are alkaline but they are not alkali. Why these substances are alkaline without being a alkali?
更新1:

補充第2個問題,我的意思即是說,為什麼 metal carbonate/metal hygrogencarbonate不是鹼但是仍會帶鹼性呢?

i) if it contains only metal carbonate or bicarbonate, it will be harmful
to our mouth and oesophagus. so a small amount of solid acid is
mixed with them to make it less alkaline.
ii) the pH of alkali is too high, so it will damage our body.
the pH ot alkaline is lower than the alkali, such as CaO or
MgO. so we use metal carbonate or bicarbonate instead.
