本人有工作在身(7am-4pm)，但想請一日假去睇醫生，可是並不是什麼發燒流感之類，只是這病會影響到我工作的表現，可否因這個理由向醫生要求一封即日的請假信？？

yes, after you consult with the doctor, you can request the doctor to give you a sick leave (half day or one day sick leave) supporting document even I was not 發燒流感之類. This is my real experience, you can try.
