A water storage tank has the shape of the surface formed by rotating about the y-axis the graph of y= x^4 +5, where x and y are in meters. At what rate is the depth of the water changing when the water is 3m deep in the tank and is being drained at 0.7m cube per minute?

題目中的＋5是毫無意義的，因為只是把立體的位置提高5而己。這題目第一問volume of revolution，要integrate，再問rate of change，要differentiate，其實是剛巧相取消的，理論上不用in也不用d，在這裏做一次看一下而已。圖片參考：http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x22/cshung/7008032500410.jpg
