area of a circle = pi * radius * radius
= pi * 12 * 12 = 144 pi

A = πr^2

π(24/2)^2
= 3.14(12)^2
= 3.14(144)
= 452.16 square feet

all you have to do is find the circumference...not that hard

the area of a circle is pie time radius squared.
so the radius is half the diameter . the radius is 12. 12 squared is 12 times12 so that is 144 now u multiply 144 and pie. pie is 3.14 now the answer is 37.68 square feet. if u need to round it to the nearest foot. it would be 38 square feet

hope that helpss=]

Area = (pi/4)(d^2)

where d = pool diameter

Therefore,

Area = (pi/4)*(24^2)
Area = (pi/4)* 576
Area = 452.39 sq ft of material will cover her pool.
