Why the US rarely condemn Vietnam for its violations of human rights?

While the US government condemn China, North Korea, Cuba, Iran on their human rights record. The government does not comment on Vietnam, as it still remains to be a dictatoral communist regime.

Because Vietnam is our next source of cheap labor..

Well, for one reason, conditions in Vietnam are improving.

Second, the US does condemn Vietnam -- see the 2006 Human Rights report below.

What makes you think Vietnam would give a rat's @ss if the US were to "condemn" them? They'd go on about there day like business as usual.
