3x + y = 15x + 2y = - 4
- 6x - 2y = - 2
5x + 2y = - 4--------ADD
- x = - 6
x = 6
18 + y = 1
y = - 17
x = 6 , y = - 17

y = 8 + 3x
2y = 2(8 + 3x)
5x + 2y = -4
5x + 2(8 + 3x) = -4
5x + 16 + 6x = -4
5x + 6x = -4 - 16
11x = -20
x = -20/11
-3x + y = 8
-3(-20/11) + y = 8
y = 8 - 60/11
y = 88/11 - 60/11
y = 28/11
y = 8 + 3x
2y = 2(8 + 3x)
