Why do cheerleaders wear turtlenecks?

We wear turtlenecks? hahahaha. They're called liners my dear. Liners are used to keep us warm or else we would be stuck freezing in the cold with only our shells.

i do no longer see why no longer. i'm a cheerleader, and all of us positioned on those. There are no boys on our squad, yet i do no longer see a project with them donning bodysuits too. individually, i admire those! I even positioned on them as customary turtleneck tops in the autumn and wintry climate, no longer basically for cheerleading.

No they are not called liners smart one they are called body suits and yes its to keep them warm during football season but its also because sometimes in highschool you arent allowed to wear tanks so they use that to cover themselves

Usually when cheerleaders cheer its during football season which is fall, and can be very windy and cold. Therefore, the cheerleader wear turtlenecks to feel comfortable,and warm while they cheer.

its normally just an underarmour type thing to stay warm. also sometimes it makes their boobs look bigger
