Let :CR=CQ=x cm
BQ=BP=(7-x) cm
Then AP=12-BP=12-(7-x)=(5+x)---------1
Note that AP=AR=10-CR=10-x-----------2
Sub 1 into 2
5+x=10-x
2x=15
x=7.5
Therefore , AP=10-7.5=2.5 cm
