Was 同 Did 的用法及分別?

was是be演變出來的，而did是由do演變出來的。
基本上was會多用在一句叙述句上，而did會多用在問題句子上。
e.g. The dog was running.
Did the dog run?
但其實意思上是差不多的:-
e.g. Was this your doing? = Did you do this?

Was 是 be 的過去式.

敍述句 e.g. He was a student
問句 : " Was he a student ?
有公式 Was + 主詞suject + 補語 supplement

Did 是 Do 的過去式.
敍述句 e.g. I love her
問句 Do I love her.
公式 Do (did ,does) + 主詞suject + 原形動詞root....
