網上所謂的大笑之歌，請問原曲是什麼？

Charles Penrose (11 November 1873 – 17 November 1952) was a music hall and theatre performer,
and later radio comedian, who is best known for his unusual comic song "The Laughing Policeman".
台灣歌手 洪鐘 親自改編英文曲《The Laughing Policeman》成為《奇妙的約會》一曲，一舉打開香港樂壇的知名度。他在這首歌裡展現出詼諧有趣、但難度艱澀的「笑嗓」絕活，立即吸引了多數樂迷的目光，旋即與香港百代唱片公司簽約，出版第一張專輯《美麗的回憶》，專輯中一曲《心上人》更成為流行金曲。據說..洪鐘為了唱這首歌曲，還特別去練過，因此與Charles Penrose放肆笑聲的版本最大不同點是他的宏亮笑聲相當特別。

細查之下，大笑之歌原來還有比Charles Penrose的The Laughing Policeman更早的版本，那就是George W. Johnson的The Laughing Song，灌錄於約1901年，而我們竟然還可透過Youtube收聽此版本！
