1. Patients frequently admit to A&E for SOB attack. What can you do to minimize the admission rate?

2. How do you confirm the "right patient"? What will you do if the patient does not have an ID card with him when he admit to the hospital?

3.Now you are in AED, the ambulance men come in with a patient on restraints on bed, and take him to an empty cubicle with a bed. You are now in charge of this patient, what will you do FIRST?

Many patients did not how /when and what is the use of MDI( multi-dose inhaler). They tried to minise the using of MDI especially steroid puff, so increase frequent attack and need to attend A&E . The main points are: let them know how to use MDI( Actually, many patients have not be really taught before); introduce the aid like aerochamber. S/E of steroid puff is less than oral steroid that many patients did not know and always avoid to use steroid puff and aggreviate their SOB. Use puff before exertion.Use short acting bronchodilator first then long acting then steoid puff if patient did have all those kind of MDI. Take rest at least 1 miniute at each puff. Keep light exercise daily.
Check with the bracelet, still have other informations like: Patient's name, HN no., A&E no.,psuedo ID no. that you can check with.
Assisted ambulance man to transfer patient from strecher to exam. trolley. Asked ambulance man why patient need restrainer. Observe the circulatioon of four limbs, check any injuries already made before.
