ALCOHOL eg. CH3CH2CH2OH (propanol)
Although it has a lot of H , it is difficult to give out a H+ (acid)
Even thought it may give out H+ to react with other chemical species,
it is a weak acid and weak base because alcohol are organic compound.
As these are weak acid and weak base, they are seldom noted as corrosive(腐蝕).
Hence , alcohol do not corrode plastics and glass.
If fact, both plastics and glass are strong to resist corrosion.
In my knowledge, i haven't seen or knew any gases that could corrode plastics and glass.
But i have heard of some strongest acids in the world that can corrode glass.
Hence, they are stored in plastic bottle instead of glass bottle.
Therefore, you may say plastic is stronger, but it just depends on what point of view you stand.
