HNO3 + NH3 + H2O --> NH4NO3 + H2O(Note: We use NH3 + H2O to represent aqueous ammonia
in this equation. Presence of NH4OH is a WRONG CONCEPT)
Therefore
HNO3 + NH3 --> NH4NO3
The H2O on both sides are crossed out
You should cross them out in the exam too.
