Brass is an alloy composed of copper and zinc. Normally, the ratio of copper and zinc can be 85/15 or 67/33. To produce brass, we can simply melt the pure copper and zinc together at around 1200C to make the alloy. After that, the brass can be produced in grains form or it can be casted by continuous casting to make wires, sheet, tube or ingots.
