I would like to know if a baby who was not born in HK but the baby's father
is a HKSAR permanent resident, is the baby entitled to apply for permanent
residence in HK immediately after birth?

For such case, one of the child's parent must have Chinese citizenship.People who are of Chinese race born in HK before handover and emigrated overseas usually still have Chinese citizenship now

Where was your baby born? Both of you are settled in overseas? Last time, I applied for it but got refused. Both my husband and me are HK permanent residents but live in oversea.
